The Mt. Hope Funks Grove Library Board will have three positions open for election in April 2027. Residents interested in serving their community are encouraged to visit or call the library to obtain an election packet.  The library address is 111 S. Hamilton St.  The phone number is 309-874-2291. The packet contains the necessary paperwork and instructions for becoming a candidate and being placed on the ballot.

Important Candidate Filing Deadlines

Candidates must submit their completed paperwork to the Library Director during the official filing period listed below.

• Filing deadline opens on Monday, November 16, 2026 at 8:00 AM

• Filing deadline ends at Monday, November 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM

Please note: Candidate paperwork will only be accepted during the designated filing period. Any paperwork received before the opening date or after the filing deadline will be returned to the candidate marked “Not Filed.”

Monday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Tuesday-Friday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Sunday Closed
